The Company has established a Health, Safety and Environmental Policy; guided in the conduct of its business by the principle that Health, Safety and Environmental Protection are very important and form an integral part of all other primary business objectives. Multilevel safety systems are built into the plant, so that if one system should fail, another will automatically take over to operate. The plant incorporates a series of emergency shutdown systems, including equipment which will close down the pipeline supplying gas to the plant, and shutdown the plant automatically in the event of any problems. A major concern for Micro Filling Station is to ensure that its staff has a healthy and safe working environment. Much effort has been put into designing safe working practices - especially concerning the handling of gas. All staff and contractors working on the site must wear protective safety equipment, and they are trained in the safe containing of fire in neighborhoods. The Company has people trained in first aid to offer immediate help if a person becomes ill or injured.
